Honey Soy Glazed Chicken Drums

A delicious crave worthy asian dish. A go-to for any night of the week, a simple marinade makes for an easy meal. Chicken drums are my favorite (and in my opinion the most flavorful) dark meat, but this recipe can also be used with chicken thighs.

 

For the Chicken:


2 pounds (approximately) boneless, skinless chicken drums (or thighs)

2 tablespoons honey

1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce

1 teaspoon of minced garlic

1 teaspoon of minced ginger

1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

oil for pan


 

Technique:


Place chicken in a plastic gallon bag. Add all ingredients into bag, seal and shake until well combined.


Marinate for 30 minutes up to 2 hours in the fridge.


Heat oil in pan on medium- medium high heat. Working in batches, cook chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side depending on thickness.


Plate chicken and serve.
